6-week Instagram Exhibition
Over the next 6 weeks I’ll be posting a couple of images a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, about 7PM UK time) to my Instagram @markdaviesimages and at the same time I’ll post them here on my website. If you’re interested in purchasing any of the images in any of my usual formats – high-quality prints on fine art paper, canvas, or other products including postcards and mugs – or indeed anything else you’ve got in mind, feel free to get in touch using the contact form at the bottom my home page here, or message me on Instagram.
Or get in touch if…
- Youโd like an existing artwork adapted in a different colour palette, format, or scale.
- You have a personal photograph or image youโd like reworked into digital art.
- Youโre interested in a commissioned piece inspired by a person or place, journey, or everyday scene.
- Youโd like to explore a more abstract or graphic interpretation of an image you already have.
- You have an idea or starting point and would like to talk it through.
Commissioned work is discussed on an individual basis and reflects the scope, complexity, and intended use of the finished artwork. There is no obligation to proceed beyond an initial conversation.

Two seated commuters and a standing figure, strangers, caught in a moment of accidental proximity
Three strangers sharing a space but nothing else. Warm amber tones and loose, painterly figures suggest the particular quiet of a busy transit system

Dandelions in a blue vase, painted in yellows and golds
A bunch of dandelions in a bright blue vase, painted in warm yellows and golds against a matching background

A lock house and gate on the Grand Union Canal, painted in bold strokes and autumn colour
A yellow lock keeper’s cottage sits behind the lock gates, framed by bare trees and an energetic sky. Thick brushwork and rich colour bring a familiar English waterway scene to vivid life

The Arc de Triomphe seen through the movement of a passing crowd
The monument is recognisable but not the focus โ the crowd in front occupies as much of the composition as the arch itself. Warm ambers and deep blues, applied in loose, energetic strokes, give the scene a sense of motion

A lock and gatehouse on the Grand Union Canal, painted in sunlight and bold colour.
A view along the lock gate towards a yellow lock keeper’s cottage under a bright blue sky. Blues, yellows and reds are applied in broad strokes throughout

A mother and her teenage son on a morning journey, rendered in warm oranges and deep blues
Two figures sit close together, both absorbed in their own world. The background of vertical colour streaks suggests the movement and blur of a train in motion, while the figures themselves are painted in broad, solid forms
